Class of the month: KOBOX

Is there anything better than waking up and smashing out an early morning workout? Not only does a morning workout boost your metabolism and get your endorphins going, it also results in increased productivity. You will be more awake and ready to tackle your day, plus working out can increase your mental clarity for four to 10 hours post-exercise.


One of our favourite ways to start the day is with a sweat session at Kobox.


The fight club meets nightclub combines boxing with cardio and strength training. The result is one exhausting yet exhilarating 50 minutes.


Whilst the structure of every boxing class varies, what is always guaranteed is loud, pumping music and a dark, neon lit room.


The class begins with Kobox members either on the bags (the fun bit) or on the wall. You swap between the two several times during the session. When on the bags you are given a range of boxing sequences to follow, while on the wall you vary between cardio intervals, strength training and ab work.


If you’re a newbie, fear not. You’ll be invited in to the class 5 minutes early and taught all the basics you need to face/ ace the class.


It gets seriously sweaty, so pair your breathable Hey Jo leggings with a crop top and a loose tee.
