In this Sunday’s Telegraph Stella Magazine Hey Jo featured in an article on “The ‘It’ Kit” explaining how leggings are becoming too good for the gym as the athleisure trend is transforming how we style our workout gear. The article was written by Jessica Salter, Stella Magazine’s commissioning editor.
The main feature being the style chart including activewear that shouldn’t be saved for the gym with leggings becoming the new denim. The ability to wear your workout wear for all occasions is becoming increasingly popular, here at Hey Jo we design stylish activewear leggings for your everyday. This new trend has been led by influential stars, such as the beautiful Rosie Huntington-Whiteley and Miranda Kerr.

The article also featured an interview with the founder of Hey Jo, Jo Admiraal, who started the company with the mindset that the brand must encompass luxury wellbeing and not be categorised as another sportswear company. Hey Jo leggings are “made for someone like me, who is someone who works, has four kids and is generally running around, but wants to look fashionable”. Fusing fitness and fashion is essential in producing a piece of clothing that can work in the gym and out, to be dressed up and dressed down.
It is so lovely to feature in Stella Magazine and to see our leggings in print, thank you Jessica Salter.
